AEO MRA ,Mutually recognize AEO in foreign partners Customs territories.
In other words, Customs authorities conclude Mutual Recognition Arrangement to provide equivalent benefits for Customs procedures.

In order to strengthen the effect of trade facilitation, the WCO highly recommends that AEO MRA are concluded between countries that has introduced AEOs as AEOs are given trade facilitation benefits such as reduced inspection rates during import clearance in foreign customs territories Therefore, many AEO MRAs have been signed between partner countries.

After the implementation of AEO MRA, the following benefits are granted to export cargo from AEO countries Reduced import inspection, Simplified Document Check, Priority Customs clearance, and Preferential treatment in case of emergency Furthermore, Customs officer from respective Customs Administrations is designated so that AEOs respond quickly in case of Customs clearance issues. Therefore, providing MRA benefits of Customs clearance through an AEO contributes not only to saving logistics cost, but also ensuring predictability of trade.
